Will I be assisted if I don't have health insurance (Medical Aid)?
Yes, we do cater for private/ self financing patients too.
Will I be assisted without making an appointment?
Yes, We do accept walk-in patients. You will however be assisted after a client that had booked prior to your visit.
What are the visiting hours?
You may visit your relatives and friends every day at 15H00 to 16H00 and 19H00- 20H00. And additionally 11H00-12H00 on weekends and public holidays.
Can I visit someone who is admitted in adult ICU?
Yes, people in critical condition may be visited by close relatives and friends.
Can I visit my loved one who's admitted in NICU?
NICU is a ward for pre-mature infants, only the parents may visit their babies in NICU.
Who may visit?
Anyone except Children below the age of 14 and people suffering from contagious illness.
Can I bring my loved one beverages and food?
Cooked food including sausages are prohibited; however, packed drinks and fruits are permitted.
How many people can visit at the same time?
We advice that we keep the number of visitors to very minimal as this is needed for patients rest and recovery process.
Can I discuss my relative's condition with the doctors?
Depending on whether you are the indicated next of kin/ family confidant, the doctor may discuss necessary information with you regarding the patient.
